Regions to Help

The regions listed below represent the greatest concentration of people groups who do not have God’s Word. Before you register your church, think about which region you would like to focus on.

Regions to Help - Asia

Asia

Asia, the largest continent in the world, is home to more than half the earth's population. Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Shinto and Confucianism dominate the continent — with major conflicts between religious groups. Oppressive governments and religious systems make it difficult for Christians to live out their faith. Having the Word of God in their heart language will help persecuted believers understand the hope they have in Christ. Church leaders will find wisdom and direction from the counsel of God.

Regions to Help - Africa

Africa

Africa is rich in natural resources and home to more than 12 percent of the world's population. Basic essentials are not available for many minority language groups. The AIDS/HIV epidemic and food crisis is decimating the young adult population and leaving millions orphaned.  Ongoing violence and unparalleled suffering perpetrate family and spiritual brokenness. Indigenous traditions play a significant role in religious practices, including animal sacrifices, spirit worship and fear of curses. God's Word in the heart language will help shape a biblical worldview to address lifestyle as well as economic and cultural issues.

Pacific

In the Pacific, there are many traditional, isolated and forgotten people groups that have been marginalized by society. Lack of education opportunities and the prevalence of cults are keeping people in spiritual bondage. Many practice animistic rituals, ceremonies and spirit worship. But God does not forget these groups. He wants every person to experience the transforming power of His Word.
